Effective date: October 5, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Smart Growth Services (“we,” “us,” or “our”), a digital consulting company specializing in tech implementation and AI integration, handles information in three places: when you visit our website at https://smartgrowth.services/ (the “Site”); when a business uses Owner’s Desk, the business software suite from Smart Growth Services at https://crm.smartgrowth.live/, including Job Desk, the customer and job app within it, and the accounts a business chooses to connect to it; and when you take part in our text messaging programs. By using the Site or Owner’s Desk, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
Smart Growth Services, P.O. Box 228, Devine, TX 78016. Email: Support@smartgrowth.services.
Information We May Collect
We may collect information you provide directly to us, such as your name, email address, phone number, or any details you submit through forms on the Site. We may also automatically collect certain technical information, such as your IP address, browser type, device information, and pages viewed, through cookies and similar technologies.
How We May Use Information
We may use the information we collect to respond to inquiries, provide and improve our services, communicate with you, maintain the security and functionality of the Site, and comply with applicable legal obligations.
Who We Share Information With
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with data brokers. We do not use information from Owner’s Desk or from any connected account for advertising. The only advertising-related data we handle is the website measurement described under Advertising, Analytics and Measurement below. We share information only with the providers and platforms needed to do what you or your business ask of us:
- Messaging delivery. Twilio carries the text messages and phone calls sent and received through our products, solely to deliver them. See the SMS / Text Messaging section below for how mobile information is handled.
- Hosting and database providers that run the Site and Owner’s Desk.
- Payment processors. When a payment is made on the Site or a business bills through Owner’s Desk, the payment processor the business has connected (Stripe, or Square where connected) receives the details needed to take the payment.
- Connected platforms. Where a business connects a Google, Microsoft, Facebook, Instagram or TikTok account to Job Desk, we send those platforms only what is needed to perform the actions the business asks for, such as publishing a post or adding a booking to a calendar. The Connected Social Media Accounts, Connected Google Accounts and Connected Microsoft Accounts sections below describe this in detail.
- AI providers. If a business turns on AI features in Job Desk, the text of the conversations it chooses to summarize or draft replies for is sent to Google’s Gemini API using that business’s own Google AI key, and recordings of calls the business records are transcribed by OpenAI’s speech-to-text service. These providers receive only what is needed to produce the summary, draft or transcript. Calendar data is never sent to an AI provider.
- Legal requirements. We disclose information where the law requires it, or to protect our rights, our users or the public.
SMS / Text Messaging
If you call or text Smart Growth Services to request service, a quote, or an estimate and provide your mobile number, you consent to receive transactional SMS text messages from us about your request — such as estimate-approval links, scheduling and appointment updates, and replies to your questions. We obtain that consent verbally, through your own inbound message, or when you submit your mobile number through a form on this Site that tells you we will text you.
Separately, we send occasional marketing and promotional text messages — offers and availability — only to people who have given express written consent by checking the opt-in box on our SMS sign-up form at https://smartgrowth.services/contact/. That consent is separate from any other agreement and is never a condition of any purchase. Contacting us for service does not enroll you; we do not send promotional texts to anyone who has only consented to service messages.
Promotional messages are sent up to 4 times a month; service messages depend on your service activity. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help or STOP to unsubscribe at any time. Replying STOP ends both kinds of message.
Our text message programs are available to mobile numbers in the United States and to people aged 18 or over.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with subcontractors in support services, such as our SMS provider (Twilio) solely to deliver these messages, is permitted. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
Connected Social Media Accounts
Job Desk, the customer and job app within Owner’s Desk, lets a business connect social media accounts it controls: a Facebook Page, an Instagram Business account, or a TikTok account. The business authorizes each connection through that platform’s own sign-in. We never ask for, receive, or store your social media password.
We use that access only to:
- list the accounts or Pages available, so the business can choose one;
- publish the posts, photos and videos the business creates and schedules in Job Desk;
- check whether a post we published is still on the Page or account.
In more detail, for each platform:
- Facebook Pages. We see the list of Pages you manage, including Pages owned through a Meta Business portfolio, so you can pick one. We publish the posts, photos and videos you create to that Page, and we check whether a post we published is still on the Page.
- Instagram. Through the Facebook Page it is linked to, we read your Instagram Business account’s ID and username so you can see which account is connected. We publish the posts you create to that account.
- TikTok. We read your TikTok display name, and when you post directly, your username and profile picture, so you can see which account will receive a video. We send the videos and photos you choose to your TikTok account, either to your TikTok inbox to finish in the app, or posted directly with the privacy and disclosure choices you pick.
- What we store. The access token the platform issues to us, the connected account’s ID and name, and the posts you create in Job Desk with their publishing status and a link to the published post. We do not read your messages, comments, followers or advertising data.
- Retention. The posts you create in Job Desk, including the record of where and when they were published, are your business’s own records. They stay in your Job Desk account until you delete them or your account is deleted. We delete the stored access token for an account as soon as you disconnect it.
- Removing access. Disconnect the account in Job Desk (Settings, Social Media), or remove the Job Desk app in Facebook (Settings, Business Integrations), Instagram (Settings, Apps and websites) or TikTok (Settings, Security, Manage app permissions).
We do not use social media data for advertising, we do not build profiles of individuals across businesses, and we do not sell it. We do not access anything outside the accounts a business has explicitly connected. Access tokens issued by a connected platform are encrypted at rest and are never sent to a web browser.
We handle data received from these platforms in line with each platform’s own developer and platform terms, including the Meta Platform Terms and the TikTok Developer Terms of Service. We use it only for the purposes listed above.
Connected Google Accounts
A business can choose to connect a Google account to Job Desk by clicking Connect and signing in on Google’s own page. We never see or store your Google password. You can connect a personal Google account or a Google Workspace account.
Google Calendar. What we access: the list of your calendars (their names and your access level on each, never their events), the events we create, and whether you are free or busy at a given time on the calendars you choose. Why: to add jobs and bookings to the calendar you choose, to update or remove those events when a booking changes or is cancelled, and to avoid booking you when you are already busy. What we don’t do: we don’t read the details of other events on your calendar. Free/busy checks return times only, never titles, attendees or notes, and we keep them only long enough to check for a conflict.
Your Google account email address. We read it so we can show which account is connected.
Google Business Profile. A business can also connect the Google Business Profile it manages, so it can post updates and answer reviews from Job Desk. What we access: the list of Business Profile accounts and locations you manage (their names and IDs) so you can pick one; the reviews on the location you choose (the reviewer’s public name and photo, the star rating, the review text and any reply); and the location’s public review link. Why: to publish the “What’s new” posts you create in Job Desk to the location you pick, to show that location’s reviews in Job Desk so you can read and reply to them, to post the replies you write, and to suggest the review link you send to customers. What we don’t do: we don’t change your business name, address, hours or other listing details, we don’t delete reviews, and we don’t post a reply or an update unless you write it and send it. Reviews are read from Google each time you open the Reviews page; we don’t keep a copy of them. What we keep is the location’s name and ID and the posts you create in Job Desk with their publishing status.
Removing access to Google Business Profile. Disconnect Google Business Profile in Job Desk (Settings, Social Media), or ask us to disconnect it for you; either way, the stored access and refresh tokens are deleted right away. You can also remove Job Desk at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions. Posts and replies already published stay on your Business Profile until you remove them there.
How we store and protect Google data. Access tokens are encrypted at rest and never sent to a web browser. What we keep in Job Desk is your account email address, the names and IDs of the calendars you chose, and the ID and link of each event we created, attached to the booking it belongs to. That is stored as your business’s records, kept separate from every other business, and visible only to people at your business.
Who we share Google data with. We do not sell Google user data. We do not use it for advertising or to build profiles of people. We share it only with the service providers who run parts of the product for us (hosting and database providers), and when the law requires it. No AI feature in Job Desk uses calendar data. No AI training: we do not use data from Google APIs to develop, improve or train generalized AI or machine-learning models. No human reading: people at Smart Growth Services do not read your Google data, except for support at your request, for security investigation, or when the law requires it.
Job Desk’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy (https://developers.google.com/terms/api-services-user-data-policy), including the Limited Use requirements.
Removing access. Disconnect in Job Desk (Settings, Business Accounts), which deletes the stored tokens right away; or remove Job Desk at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions. Events we already added to your Google Calendar stay on your calendar, and the bookings in Job Desk keep their record of the event. To delete those bookings, delete them in Job Desk or see Data Deletion Requests below.
Connected Microsoft Accounts (Outlook and Microsoft 365)
A business can connect a Microsoft account. This can be a personal Outlook.com, Hotmail or Live account, or a work or school Microsoft 365 account. You sign in on Microsoft’s own page; we never see or store your password.
- Outlook mail: permission to send email from your address and read messages in your inbox, so emails your business sends from Job Desk come from your own address and customer emails show up in your Job Desk inbox.
- Outlook calendar: permission to add and update events on your calendar, so jobs and bookings appear there.
- Your basic profile: your name and email address, so we can show which account is connected.
We handle Microsoft data the same way as Google data:
- tokens are encrypted;
- it’s stored only as your business’s records;
- it’s never sold or used for advertising, and never used to train AI models;
- it’s shared only with the service providers and AI feature described above, or when the law requires it.
You can disconnect at any time in Job Desk. You can also remove access in your Microsoft account at https://account.microsoft.com/privacy/app-access (personal accounts) or through your organization’s administrator (work and school accounts).
Data Deletion Requests
You can ask us to delete information we hold about you at any time. This section covers the four kinds of data we hold, and how to have each one removed. If you are not sure which applies to you, email us using the address at the end of this section and we will work it out with you.
1. Information you submitted through a form on this website
- Email us from the address you used on the form, with the subject “Delete my form submission”.
- Tell us roughly when you submitted the form and which page it was on, if you remember.
- We delete the submission and any copy we kept in our records, and reply to confirm when it is done.
2. A Google, Facebook, Instagram or TikTok account connected to Job Desk
Disconnecting removes the access token we hold for the account and the link between that account and your business’s Job Desk workspace. You can do it from either side.
- Sign in to Job Desk at https://crm.smartgrowth.live/ and open Settings.
- For a Google account, open Business Accounts. For a Facebook Page, Instagram or TikTok account, open Social Media.
- Find the connected account and press Disconnect. The stored tokens for that account are deleted right away, and we stop acting on it.
If you cannot sign in to Job Desk, remove the app from the platform instead:
- Google: https://myaccount.google.com/permissions, select Job Desk, then Remove access.
- Facebook: Settings, Business Integrations, select Job Desk, then Remove.
- Instagram: Settings, Apps and websites, select Job Desk, then Remove.
- TikTok: Settings, Security, Manage app permissions, select Job Desk, then Remove.
When you remove Job Desk from Facebook or Instagram, Meta notifies us automatically. We delete the stored access for that account and return a confirmation code, which Facebook shows you together with a link to a status page at crm.smartgrowth.live/data-deletion/ followed by your code. Keep the code; it is the only way to look the request up.
Disconnecting does not delete the records your business created while the account was connected: the posts you published through Job Desk, the bookings we added to your Google Calendar, and the events on your Google Calendar itself. Those stay as your business’s records until you delete them in Job Desk, delete them on the platform, or ask us to delete your whole account (see below).
3. A business’s whole Owner’s Desk account
- Email us from the owner’s address on the account, with the subject “Account deletion request”.
- We confirm the request with an owner of the account before acting, because this destroys the business’s own operating records (staff logins, customer records, message history, bookings, published posts and every connected account) and cannot be undone.
- Once confirmed, we delete the account and reply to confirm when it is done.
4. You are a customer of a business that uses Owner’s Desk
If a business you hired keeps your name, phone number, address or message history in Owner’s Desk, those are that business’s records and the business controls them. Contact the business directly to have your information corrected or removed. If the business needs help doing it, they can reach us and we will act on their instruction. You may also write to us directly and we will pass the request to the business and follow up.
For any of the above, or if you are not sure which applies, email Support@smartgrowth.services. We reply to confirm every deletion request when it has been completed.
Cookies
The Site may use cookies and similar technologies to remember your preferences and understand how the Site is used. You can usually adjust your browser settings to refuse cookies, though some features of the Site may not function properly as a result.
Advertising, Analytics and Measurement
We use Google Tag Manager to manage measurement tags on the Site, and analytics services to understand how visitors use it. These tools set cookies and collect technical information such as your IP address, device and browser type, the pages you view, and the site you arrived from. We use that information to measure how the Site performs and to improve it.
We may advertise our services on third-party platforms, including Meta (Facebook and Instagram), TikTok and Google. Where we do, those platforms may set their own cookies or receive measurement events from the Site — for example that a page was viewed or a form submitted — so they can report on and improve the performance of our advertising.
We do not send your mobile phone number to any advertising platform. Text message opt-in data and consent records are never used for advertising, audience building, or lookalike targeting of any kind.
You can control this through your browser’s cookie settings, through the ad preference settings on those platforms, and through the opt-out tools each provider offers.
Embedded Content
Pages on the Site may include embedded content (such as videos, images, or articles) from other websites. Embedded content behaves as if you visited the other website, and those websites may collect data about you in accordance with their own privacy practices.
Contact Forms
If you contact us through a form on the Site, we may retain the information you submit so that we can respond to your request and keep a record of our communications.
Comments
If commenting is enabled on the Site and you leave a comment, we may collect the information shown in the comment form, along with technical details such as your IP address, to help with spam detection and moderation.
Data Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.
Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding your personal information, such as the ability to request access, correction, or deletion. To make such a request, please contact us using the details below.
